How to Sell Your Home in Morocco with BabDar

How Moroccan owners list a home for sale on BabDar, and how Avito, Mubawab and Sarouty fit a 2026 sale without conflicting prices.

House with for-sale concept

Selling a home in Morocco means showing up where buyers already look, with one price and photos that match the visit. Avito is the classifieds site with the widest casual audience, and many private owners post there first. Mubawab is the property portal agencies and sellers use when they want a dedicated real-estate page. Sarouty is another local listings site that puts the home in front of people sweeping Moroccan inventory. BabDar is the map and the inbox: a pin, structured facts, area in square meters, and messages that stay on the listing after review. You can use more than one. You should not tell more than one story.

Prepare the sale before you publish. Walk the home and photograph every main room in daylight, including the view from the entrance and any flaw a visit will reveal anyway. Write the size, the floor, the charges and the district in plain language. Set a price you can defend with similar ads, not a price you hope a stranger will love. Check those comps on Mubawab, Avito and Sarouty, then publish the same number on BabDar. A buyer who sees 1,400,000 dirhams on one site and 1,550,000 on another will trust neither. If an agency is involved, agree who answers messages so two people do not negotiate against each other.

Listing on BabDar and answering serious buyers

Create an account, open a new listing, choose for sale, and place the pin on the building. Add the photos and the price, then submit for review. When the home is public, reply in the thread with the visit time and the charges so the buyer can reread them. Start the listing here. Keep Avito, Mubawab or Sarouty live if you want that extra local traffic, and paste the same facts. Ask buyers to visit before they reserve. Have the title papers ready for a notary once you accept an offer. A portal collects interest. The notary is what makes the sale real.

Update every site the day the home is reserved or the price changes. Stale ads create angry visits and train the market to ignore you. If you are selling in Morocco and buying in France, Spain, the US or Canada at the same time, list the foreign home on the local platforms too: SeLoger and Leboncoin in France, Idealista in Spain, Zillow and Realtor.com in the United States, Realtor.ca or Centris in Canada. Do not expect those sites to sell the Moroccan apartment, and do not expect Avito to sell the house abroad. One country per catalog, one price per home, and a thread you can show the notary when the numbers are questioned.

Submit your Morocco home for sale.
